inspiration
Here you’ll find a collection of many different things that I find particularly interesting. There’s no rule, everything is allowed in here. And it’s not only design related topics. I try to be concise but always share my perspective and why I think each inspiration is valuable to me. Come back regularly to see new inspiration!

the possibility principle of design
When design and leadership are just one, companies survive and grow. Design is not only about creating excellent products or experiences, but also (and here mainly) about how to shape the environment that designs the work. That’s the possibility principle of design, named and defined as a mindset by Magnus Dahljhelm (Design Executive at DeLaval) in this series of articles that he’s currently writing.
Have you felt this momentum taking shape in a design team, when there is this creative energy going on? Have you felt this momentum disappearing over the days, as no clear directions or structure guides this energy through unclarity and ambiguity? Well that’s what the possibility principle of design is about. A shift in posture that allows teams of designers to keep momentum and navigate times of ambiguity.
I rarely felt as passionate about design and its potential than by reading these articles. If that’s something that interests you, don’t hesitate! Start from the beginning and read through them all!

“Using this ipod for 30 days changed my life”
Have you ever thought about how you listen to music and the impacts this can have both the artists’ life and yours? Well, I have. I find it fascinating. And I’m not the only one! Brandon Shaw, professional bassist who played with famous people like Nas (yeah!) and creator of the Youtube channel Digging the Greats is talking about his own experience of music and iPods.
Owning music is SO GREAT. When is the last time you actually bought some music? Digitally or physically? Do you know that most of the artists that you love don’t make money out of streaming platforms? Yes some platforms are better than others, but still nothing compared to actually buying the music that you love.
Did you ever wonder how you would listen to music if there was no algorithm to decide for you? Well, you’d be in control, and you’d love it. And what if this exact logic would go beyond music? How would an iPod help us rethink the types of relation we have with our environment and the things we live or consume? So many interesting questions these videos address...
